medicQA was founded in 2013 by Hugo Bertelsen and Kirsten Bertelsen, who make up the executive management of the company.
CEO Hugo Bertelsen (M.Sc., Electrical Engineering) has worked in the medical device industry for more than 25 years. Throughout his career he has worked in the area of software engineering and management with ADAC Laboratories, Philips Medical Systems, and Varian Medical Systems. Hugo has always maintained a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction. Now, medicQA and its customers benefit from his many years of regulatory, management, and technical experience.
COO Kirsten Bertelsen (M.Sc., International Technology Management) has a decade of experience advising medical device companies, ranging from startups to established multinational companies, as a quality management and regulatory affairs consultant. In addition to developing business and leading daily operations of medicQA, she also plays a significant role as a consultant for medicQA’s customers.
